Pretty hectic day helping with lambing today.
I did notice a Small Tortoiseshell resting on a tiled roof in the sun for a short while before flying off.
c30 Fieldfare were feeding on the pasture to the west in what’s called ‘Perkins area’,
I was just think I have not heard and Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming locally yet, when one flew over towards the Long Spinney, surely drumming soon here.
