3rd Nov - light rain early, a few isolated showers later afternoon, otherwise broken cloud, light WSW/W, 8C

Cotesbach landfill; early afternoon. Large number of Gulls which started their 'mew' call suggesting the falconer's falcon was about close by.   The Green Sandpiper and Ruddy Shelduck were again present. Five Red Kites.

Stanford reservoir; a Shag (1st yr) was spotted this morning by Chris, in fact it was photographed yesterday by someone but not identified as a Shag.  It was still present this afternoon on the dam.  Other usual water birds present including 35 Teal.
