Bittesby; a walk over this area this afternoon. Main sightings were 22 Goldfinch feeding on teasels, a male and female Stonechat on the old fence posts (distant digiscoped photos, so not to disturb them), a small mixed flow of Yellowhammer 7, Reed Bunting 3, Chaffinch 3 on a fallow field area. A couple of Linnets, four Redwings and c150 Woodpigeon.,
Starling roost; estimated 30000 in to the roost this evening.
Some Rooks were gathering pre-roost.
