7th Feb - sunny spells am, cloudy pm, mod/fresh NE, 2C (wind chill like -5C)

We are having over the next few days cold, maybe snow, from the east, so we shall see if this brings 'white-wingers' and more species to the feed station.

Willey; the single tree Sparrow was at the feed station this morning, pity others are coming (yet!).

Cotesbach Landfill; a look here this morning, three Shelducks, a pair and single drake, plus 19 Shoveler and a good number of Teal.  A couple of Red Kite, not many Gulls.  A Raven had found a bone and was enjoying it, whilst Carrion Crows edged closer hoping to steal it.
