27th Feb - frost last night -2C. sunny, light NW, 11C

Cotesbach landfill/sandpit;  Five Shelduck, a bit of chasing by the drakes.  c40 Teal, 15 Shoveler, seven Wigeon, a Mallard pair and Tufted Ducks.  Three Buzzards, only one Red Kite seen.  

Two Lapwings, hopefully a pair to breed.
