15th June - sunny spells, humid at times. 25C, light variable Easterly quaters breeze

Cotesbach Landfill;  a look this evening. Nothing new.  Shelduck family OK, Mute Swan nest abandoned, Pen still alive sitting near nest but not too good, Cob on water.  Single Oystercatcher asleep.  Four adult Canada Geese with nine large goslings/juvs.

Stanford reservoir; quite here this evening too.  Warbler song diminishing now, Garden and Sedge Warblers seen, Blackcap in song, Whitethroat feeding large youngster.  Three Common Terns, on nest.   A Grey heron and Little Egret were fishing along the edge of Blowers bay.

Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers heard.

Not seen any Fungi here during the dry spell, but one fruiting today, after the recent showers, maybe more to look for.

Several large Skippers on the wing, along with Meadow Brown
