1st June - sunny, 24C, light-mod Easterly

Shawell lagoons; this evening a Grey Heron, Egyptian Geese pair and a few Gulls on the shore.  One LBBG had a colour ring, green/white NA24, originating from Lancashire.

Cotesbach Landfill; a check here produced 5 Gadwall (3 drakes), a Oystercatcher, Green Woodpecker and two Grey Heron.

The Shelduck pair are still present with their duckling, although I could only see eight, so one may have been 'lost', not too bad so far.
