Shawell Lagoons; Carl called about midday, he had found two Avocet at Shawell lagoons, so a look was necessary, as we don't get too many around here. One had colour rings, so it will be interesting to see the ringing details when Carl gets them.
A Fox was also present on the mud, which was also present when I checked at 1830h.
Cotesbach Landfill; a look this evening. Shelduck family, 7 ducklings still. Three Gadwall drakes with the mallards. Single Little grebe (juv), Single Buzzard, Red Kite and Oystercatcher. 12+ Swifts feeding, along with Swallow, House and Sand Martins. Green Woodpecker heard.
Another Fox was here, probably a 'dog'.
