19th June - light rain/drizzle untill late afternoon, then sunny spell, light SW, 16C

Willey; a Cormorant flew over early, may not be exciting for some, but once we never saw them here, but now they move between the lakes and reservoirs.

Shawell lagoons, a evening look at the north pool, rather quite though, a couple of Lapwing were resting on the dried mud.

Cotesbach Landfill; a look here next.  Again fairly quite, loafing Gulls making their way slowly to Draycote to roost.  Sometimes spurred on by a Grey Heron flushing them from the islets.
The Shelduck and 7 ducklings still OK.  An adult Little Grebe and juv again - they must have bred here somewhere.
Only a single red Kite (1900h) and a Buzzard doing flights over it's territory, usually pestered by the carrion Crows.
