Willey; this morning a Jay flew over the road in to the Long Spinney.
Cotesbach Landfill; a check this evening, nothing new, the Shelduck family still present, great to see the duckling diving and whizzing about on the water whilst the parents try and keep them together. A couple of Oystercatchers this evening feeding. Two Buzzard sat on separate spoils heaps for most of the time not bothering to do much. A couple of Red Kite were present. Stock Dove and Green Woodpeckers could be heard in the spinney.
A Fox walked up the bank side with something in its mouth, the Fox buried this. However, one of the Magpies that was shadowing it soon went to the spot and after a few pecks retrieved the item, taking it away.
