A Sparrowhawk early (0815h) flew in to the church yard trees.
Late morning a Great Spotted Woodpecker was at y feed station, not seen as often now as in recent times.
Shawell sandpit/landfill; morning
High number of Gulls over the landfill today, but mostly too distant to examine closely. Some on the ice (pit 80% frozen over), but nothing scarce.
[Tonight news from Draycote res roost is now the adult Glaucous and an adult Iceland Gull!]
107 Teal, 24 Gadwall, a Pochard, nine Shovelers, Mallards and Tufted. Usual Red Kites and Ravens.
Little Grebes, Green Woodpecker.
