c100 Wigeon (probably from local frozen pools, like Lilbourne flood pools), 120 Lapwing around the south pool. Only 1 Pochard, plus usual Shovelers, Teal, Tufted and Mallard.
20 Red Kites over the landfill area. A Peregrines was on its favourite tall works light.
Bittesby Country Park; afternoon.
Less Chaffinch and Yellowhammers this afternoon than the last visit, single Reed Bunting, on the sunflower - bird food area.
A male Stonechat, west corner, and a few Redwings and Fieldfares, Blackbirds and a Song Thrush.
