17th June - sunny spells, 18C, light southerly

Stanford reservoir; a late evening -dusk visit, especially for Owls.  Before dark 3 Pochard, a reeling Grasshopper Warbler, a Bullfinch pair, 2 singing Lesser Whitethroats and 2 Common Terns  were noted.  A Barn Owl came passed hunting just after 9 O'clock and 2+ Tawny Owls appeared later and others could be heard.
