25th June - rain am, cloudy, dull misty pm, 15C, light-mod NE

Stanford reservoir; this evening things were a bit miserable due to the really unseasonal weather. Some 30 Starlings were in a pre-roost murmuration early.  Plenty of Sand and House Martins and Swifts overhead. The Grey lag Goose flock has now grown to 97, and Canada Geese to 15. Apart from a Gadwall, Tufted Duck and Mallard things were quite on the water.  A roving mixed flock of Tits and Warblers was making it's way through the Willows.
