22nd June - mostly sunny, light SSE, 22C

Cotesbach Landfill; 3 Little Egret were present , feeding this morning.  Gull numbers were quite low as no tipping today, however 11 Red Kites were looking for food. and a Raven was circling high above.
A Cinnabar moth settled close-by.  It seems to have been a good season for them this year.

Willey; I spotted a bright-iridescent reddish Beetle making it's way across a paving slab, lo oks like Nebria brevicollis, no colloquial name though, nor is it unusual.
