14th June - sunny, 26C, light breeze

A House Sparrow has bnesf in our house roof, as they usually do, unfortunately one very young bird has plummeted and succumbed, this is not unusual, hopefully the rest of the brood do better.

Shadwell Lagoons; this evening I had had a quick look, a Grey Heron flew in. A single Little ringed Plover was feeding on the shore.  A few Tufted Duck, Canada Geese and Mallard were on the water. A couple of Bullfinch could be heard in the bushes, otherwise just the usual species seen. Only a few Gulls including a 1st summer Yellow-legged Gull.
