10th Aug - cloudy, a few spots of rain, 19C, light SW

Stanford reservoir; a Hobby was hunting insects over the wood, at least 100 House Martin were feeding too. The female Mandarin Duck was in its usual area.  12 Linnets were feeding on the neighbouring bean field. Good numbers of Warblers were in the bushes, including Lesser Whitethroat.
