Willey; first thing a Wheatear in the top field around a cattle feeding ring, still there at 1600h.
Cotesbach Landfill; a look here produced 7 Red Kite feeding and a single Green Sandpiper of note. A Red Admiral was sunning itself.
Bittesby; this farmland can produce chats and more Wheatear, so a walk here seemed a good idea, but none were found. 6 Yellowhammers, a female Reed Bunting, a few Linnets and Great-spotted Woodpecker, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap were all noted. On the stubble fields plenty of Rooks and Jackdaws feeding, along with 10+ Stock Doves.
