Willey; I noticed a Hedgehog road casualty on the coal pit lane close to the Brewery this morning.
Our Swallows have been feeding young for a couple of weeks, these will have further in the nest before they fledge.
Stanford Reservoir; a walk around the bay this evening. The female Mandarin Duck was still here and 5 adult Common Terns, plus the juvs on the raft.
A nice array of Warblers were showing with patience, along with Bullfinch, Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Linnet. A couple of Little Egrets flew along the Reservoir and 2. Common Sandpipers were on the dam.
