Stanford Reservoir; this morning the first task was to dig trial pits in the area allocated for a scrape to determine where the natural water level is, these holes will be left for a while and monitored. Once these were dug the reservoir area was checked.
At the inlet field pool a Great and Little Egret were present. On the reservoir Pochard 71, also Chris spotted a drake Pintail, though I missed it. Two Little Grebe on the settling pool.
