Stanford reservoir; a look this afternoon, fairly quiet. Teal 2, 8 Goldeneye, a female Sparrowhawk with prey, a Kestrel, Bullfinch pair, c100 Fieldfare at inlet end, with Redwings. 2 Little Egret on settling pool.
I then heard Swans calling and spotted 6 Whooper Swans flying, quite low, and heading north, they continued flying. Interestingly 6 were reported from Marsh Lane (Warks), I wonder if these were those.
