6th Nov - a touch of frost, misty then initially sunny, clouding over with light rain late afternoon, 78C, light SE

Stanford reservoir; a look mid-afternoon until dusk. Nothing new to see here and the weather was pretty miserable causing most passerines to be well hidden just Redwing, Blackbird and the common Tits about.  No new waterfowl, 4 Goldeneye visible, plenty of Pochard and Tufted Duck, the wintering flock of Canada and Grey Lag Geese flew in from the nearby fields. Four Little Grebe near the dam.

A good number of Gulls came in to roost, but the Starling roost was much smaller than previously noted.
