Eclipse male Garganey

1st August - sunny spells, humid and showers pm, 24C
Stanford reservoir; a look around the dam area late afternoon produced 4 Common Sandpipers and the eclipse Garganey (confirmed now as a male) - distant record photo only today. Plenty of Grey and Pied Wagtails. Mute Swans now number 47, the pair still have their 4 cygnets I saw the other week.
