Cley Marsh NWT; another early morning visit, very similar to yesterday. Two Spotted Redshank were showing, 9 Wood Sandpipers and the Pectoral Sandpiper.
A look offshore for a while produced a few Gannet, Sandwich and Common Terns. A few Gulls and a Fulmar was circling a moderately distant fishing boat, I then noticed two Skua circling. They were pale underneath, bark around the neck and a pale head area, the wings were dark, with white primary area (upper and lower0, they seemed to have slender wings and were agile. I considered them to be Arctic Skuas.
