Stanford Reservoir; I managed a look here after the rain during the afternoon. About 30 each of Gadwall and Pochard, A Red Kite flew nearby and a female Sparrowhawk zipped along Blowers lodge bay bushes. A movement of Goldfinch westward seemed to be going on with c110 in several flocks counted.
I spent quite a while searching the roving Tit flocks for a Yellow-browed Warbler (one was ringed here yesterday), but I did not find one, but 6 Chiffchaffs. Often one sat out preening or sunning after the earlier rain.
