Stanford Reservoir; mid- morning. Small numbers of Redwing and Chaffinch on the move, 9 Skylark over. Only one Chiffchaff seen, A Red Kite and 2 Kestrels around. A Kingfisher on the tower railings and 2 Little Grebe nearby. Several Pied Wagtails around and 1 Grey Wagtail on the dam.
A Red Admiral was on the wing and soaking up the sun.
