10th Aug - Sunny, hot, 30C, light NE

Another scorching hot day for us, greenery is looking abit tired and pleanty of leaves are dropping off trees.

Shawell Lagoons;  a look this evening.  A couple of Yellow-legged Gull, c45 Lapwings.

A colour ringed Lesser Black-backed Gull, tibia rings, white/red R& (LHS) and plain Black (RHS).

Cotesbach landfill; the usual birds, including a Green Sandpiper at the usual pool. The juvenile Shelduck was present and single female Teal, seven Little Grebes and four Grey Wagtails.  Only a singe  Red Kite.

A new Fox family were playing on the bank before wandering off towards the landfill area.
