Cotesbach Landfill; early check here, the 3 Wood Sandpipers still present and feeding. A Common Sandpiper too. The single Pochard was present with the Tufted Duck, Shoveler 13 and 32 Teal.
Stanford Reservoir; later afternoon here, most notable were two Hobby hunting over the woodland. On the spillway a Common Sandpiper and 7 Grey Wagtails.
Wigeon started arriving a couple of days ago from their breeding grounds, with 18 present today.
