Willey; a busy day, but I did spot a Red Kite over the fields to the east of the village, it headed off SE, probably to Cotesbach landfill.
Swallows - about 30 in evening pre-roost flight over the village area.
Cotesbach landfill; a look this evening, duck numbers are still good, including 9 Shoveler, 21 Teal, 12 Tufted Duck, a 1st year Pochard and c70 Grey Lag Geese. 5 Little Grebe venturing further from their usual area, 2 Grey Heron stalking the shallows. A single Red Kite, others probably gone off to roost. 12 House Martins were around feeding above the water.
