25th Sept - sunny spells, showers, 18C, light SW

Willey; 6 Swallows seen today, several Chiffchaffs singing around the village.

Stanford reservoir; a look late afternoon, generally quieter than of late. the usual duck, including a few more Wigeon present, a single Teal, a few Shoveler and Gadwall. Roving Tit flock with Goldcrests and Chiffchaffs. A Great-spotted Woodpecker flew over the reservoir.  On the spillway was 4 grey Wagtails.
